You have searched in the library catalog for an item. It is either unavailable or checked out. Press the ‘Get It’ button to request an interlibrary loan.
.) On the item’s page in WorldCat click the blue ‘Get It’ button. NOTE: The ‘Get It’ button will only appear if the item is checked out or if the library does not own the item. If the item is available to be checked out you will not see the ‘Get It’ button.
.) Log in to ILLiad using you BU ID and password. NOTE: If this is your first time using ILLiad you will be prompted to set up your account. More information can be found here.
.) Ensure that all the information in the Item Information box is filled out.
.) Press the ‘Submit Request’ button. NOTE: If the library does not already own the item and you think it would be a valuable addition to the library’s collection, you can request that the library purchase a copy of the book by selecting ‘Purchase’ in response to the question, ‘How should the Bertrand Library get this item?’ (outlined in green).
