FireAMP is an anti-virus software that is installed on Bucknell computers. If you think that your computer may be infected, it is a good idea to run FireAMP to get rid of viruses or malware that may be affecting your computer. Follow the steps below to locate and run FireAMP:

  1. Locate FireAMP in the taskbar. It looks like an arrow on a red background. You may need to click the “^” button if it is hidden.
  2. Right click the icon.
  3. Click on “Open FireAMP Connector”. The following window will appear.
  4. Click on “Scan Now”.

    Click on “Flash Scan” if you think a malicious program might currently be running. “Custom Scan” can be used if you want to detect malware on a particular drive, folder, or a device connected to the computer. “Full Scan” takes the longest and will scan your entire computer.
