FireAMP is an anti-virus software that is installed on Bucknell computers. If you think that your computer may be infected, it is a good idea to run FireAMP to get rid of viruses or malware that may be affecting your computer. Follow the steps below to locate and run FireAMP:
- Locate FireAMP in the taskbar. It looks like an arrow on a red background. You may need to click the “^” button if it is hidden.
- Right click the icon.
- Click on “Open FireAMP Connector”. The following window will appear.
- Click on “Scan Now”.
Click on “Flash Scan” if you think a malicious program might currently be running. “Custom Scan” can be used if you want to detect malware on a particular drive, folder, or a device connected to the computer. “Full Scan” takes the longest and will scan your entire computer.
