It is highly suggested that only the person that initiated the call should add and drop callers. Also, please note that there must be at least one campus caller.

Avaya 9641G (touch screen) model:

Setting up a conference call:

  1. Call the first number you want to conference in.
  2. Touch Conf.
  3. Call the next number.
  4. When the person answers, touch Join to add the person to the existing call.
  5. To add another party to the call, touch Add.
  6. To drop a person from a conference call touch Drop. This will drop the last person that was connected to the conference call only.

Avaya 9611G (non touch screen) model:

  1. Call the first number you want to conference in.
  2. Press Conf softkey.
  3. Call the next number.
  4. When the person answers, press Join softkey to add the person to the existing call.
  5. To add another party to the call, press Add softkey.
  6. To drop a person from a conference call touch Drop softkey. This will drop the last person that was connected to the conference call only.

Limitations

  1. Conference calls can include up to 6 callers
  2. At least one caller must be on campus.
  3. Only the initiator of the call should add/drop callers.

If your conference call is larger than 6 callers, please contact the University Switchboard at 570-577-2000 to schedule a conference call.
