Banner INB and EPM 11 Access for Macintosh Computers through the Administrative Services Access Portal (ASAP)

If you use Banner INB or EPM 11 on a Bucknell-owned Macintosh computer, please install and use these shortcuts.  Each Mac operating system is slightly different.  Based on your operating system and configuration, you may or may not see every message included in these instructions.

Installation Instructions

  1. Open your Applications folder and locate Self ServiceNote: If you do not have Self Service in Applications, please contact the Tech Desk at techdesk@bucknell.edu or 570-577-7777.
  2. Logon to Self Service with your Bucknell username and password. Note: Your Bucknell username and password are the credentials you use to connect to Bmail, myBucknell, or Netspace.  You may logon to your Mac with different credentials that will not allow you to access Self Service. Note: If you are unable to logon to Self Service with your Bucknell username and password, please contact the Tech Desk at techdesk@bucknell.edu or 570-577-7777.
  3. Click the Install button next to ASAP Links Installer, which will install shortcuts for Banner INB, EPM 11, and printing from both products.
  4. If you see this security warning, enter your Macintosh username and password.
  5. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop for the item you installed.  Double click on the appropriate item to start the application.
  6. If you are on campus or using a faster Internet connection, use ASAP Fast Connection.  If you are using a slow Internet connection or the Fast Connection does not display correctly, use the ASAP Slow Connection.
  7.  If you see this security warning, click Open.
  8.  When this message is displayed, check the box by Don’t show this again and click Close.
  9.  Logon with your Bucknell username and password.
  10.  If you receive this security warning, click Continue.
  11.  If you are prompted to only show secure content, click NoNote: This is very important.  You must click No on this Security Warning.

Launching Banner INB or EPM 11

  1. Use the launch page to choose which application you want to run and can right click on the links to open in a new tab. You also have access to the multiple test environments available for these applications.
  2. When launching Banner, you will see something like this:
  3. Type in your username and Banner password.  Leave the database field blank.
  4. When launching EPM 11/ Hyperion, you will see something like this:
  5. Please type in your Bucknell username and password to log into EPM 11. 

Installing Printers

Note: If you want to print from Banner INB or EPM 11, please click on the printer icon included in the installation.

Find your printer in the Add Network Printers box on the left.  Click on the printer to select it and then press Add selected printer(s).

If you add more than one printer, select the printer you want to use as your default and press Set printer as Default.
