To help you be aware of important religious holidays when scheduling events, our friends at Google have made it very simple to add holidays from several religious traditions to your Bmail calendar. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to your Bmail calendar, and click on the + next to "Add a coworker’s calendar" on the left-hand side of the page, near the top (just under the mini-calendar for the month):

    Add Coworker's Calendar

  2. In the menu that appears, click on "Browse calendars of interest":

    Browse Calendars of Interest

  3. At the top of the box of available calendars is a "Holidays" section. Click in the selection box for the various religious holiday calendars you would like to add:

    Select Religious Holidays

  4. At the top-left of the page, click on the left-facing arrow to return to your calendar:

    Return to Calendar

  5. In your "Other calendars" section, the new calendar(s) will appear in the list, and the events from that calendar will appear in your Bmail calendar as banner labels in the color listed, making it much easier for you to see if an event you are thinking of scheduling will conflict with a major religious holiday:

    Holiday as Banner Event
